We need a practical handyperson based at our central Auckland site. You will need basic handtool skills and be reliable and keen to learn.
Ideally you will have a minimum 2 years work experience in building, joinery, or carpentry maintenance, you must be able to demonstrate your skills in operating basic hand tools and using tools and equipment safely.
We are looking for someone who can provide excellent customer service, is highly motivated and has an eye for detail.
This role will see the successful candidate working in central Auckland joining an existing maintenance team helping Aquaheat Facility Services achieve our service delivery obligations to our client.
The person we seek will have the following skills and experience:
- Service and maintenance background with commercial and or industrial site experience
- Good written English and numeracy skills
- NZ residency and/or valid NZ permit to work – no holiday visa’s please
- Current NZ Class 1 (car) driver’s license
- Be well presented and have a high degree of self-motivation
- Can work independently and as part of a team
- A passion for maintaining a safe work environment
