As a result of a strong growth and demand from our clients Aquaheat has an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic Registered Gas Fitter who has a genuine belief in providing excellent customer service with a "can do" attitude, has the ability to maintain standards and is committed to succeed to join our fast growing friendly team on a full time basis.
This role will see the successful candidate working in and around the Auckland area joining an existing team helping Aquaheat archive service delivery obligations to key commercial customers.
Reporting to the Plumbing Supervisor, you will be responsible for providing general boiler services, repairs and maintenance for our customers. The ideal candidate will have a minimum 5 years-experience in servicing and maintenance, along with a proven track record in fault finding and troubleshooting.
Candidates with experience in servicing equipment with a client facing focus in commercial and industrial environments would be highly regarded. Further opportunities for the industry training can be provided through the business.
The person we are seeking will possess the following attributes:
- NZ Registered or certified Gasfitter
- Service and maintenance background with commercial and or industrial experience
- NZ residency or valid NZ work permit
- Clean and current NZ drivers license
- A proven background in Gas, boiler/Burner plant room maintenance, servicing and remedial repairs but will look at other experience.
- Be well presented and have a high degree of self-motivation
- Have the ability to work independently or as part of a team
- A passion for maintaining a safe work environment
- Availability to be on-call on a roster basis
- Have an excellent understanding of H&S within the workplace
